Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development Shaya Al-Shaya issued a decision to postpone the financial obligations of citizens for a period of 6 months, Al-Rai reported.
The first article of the decision issued the day before yesterday stated to postpone the payment of financial obligations on citizens for a period of 6 months from the date of implementation of Law No. 3 of 2021.
Omar Al-Ruwaih, the spokesperson for the Public Institution for Housing Welfare, said that the postponement includes the installments of homes and apartments, rent allowance debts, in addition to the debts of the corporation’s employees, whether they are in service or outside.
For citizens whose installments are deducted from them through their workplace or through the Social Insurance Institution, a request to postpone the payment of installments to these bodies is submitted according to the second article of Minister Al-Shaya’s decision.
