The Public Relations and Media Department of the Directorate-General of Fire Services announced four firefighting teams successfully controlled a fire that broke out in 3 stores in Amghara at dawn today, Monday.
The Al-Rai daily said 80 fire fighters from the Jahra Hafiya, Jahra, Sulaibikhat and Isnad fought the blaze on an area approximately 2,500 square meters. The fire destroyed wood, electrical appliances and various types of materials.
Fire sources said cooling and inspection process is currently underway to prevent the flames from igniting. An investigation has been opened to determine the cause of the fire.
