The Director of the Air Cargo Department at the General Administration of Customs, Mutlaq Al-Anzi stated that all passengers traveling to Kuwait from Lebanon, Iraq and Syria will not be allowed to bring any food items with them, whether fresh or frozen, including sweets and nuts from the mentioned countries, as the customs will confiscate these items, irrespective of the quantity.

Al-Enezi told an Arabic local that these measures are undertaken as part of the government’s precautionary efforts to ensure that the disease cholera, that has spread in the above-mentioned countries, does not enter Kuwait.
