The Director General of the General Administration of Customs, Suleiman Al-Fahd, issued a circular regarding the mechanism for exporting copper, aluminum, scrap and iron, reported an Arab daily. In an official statement, Al-Fahd said that a security lock will be placed on the containers marked with a serial number, as well as a security adhesive tape on the container door, provided that they will only be opened under the watch of the Ministry of Electricity and Water.

Al-Fahd stressed in his instructions that if any container is seized, with the security lock cut off or the adhesive tape removed with methods other than the prescribed, it will not be exported and the MEW inspectors will be contacted to reexamine it.
