The General Administration of Customs has tightened its procedures to confront smuggled foodstuffs, issuing instructions to ban the export of fresh eggs from the beginning of October to the end of May 2023.

Customs officials decided to deal with smuggled foodstuffs by imposing a fine of 50 percent of the value of the seized goods with clearance in case the violator or his representative fails to pay the fine imposed on him after the lapse of 15 days.
