The air customs officials confiscated three postal parcels containing narcotics and psychotropic substances, according to a local daily. The Director of Air Customs, Mutlaq Al-Enezi, confirmed that the first parcel contained 900 narcotic lyric pills, the second parcel contained 300 grams of kratom, and the third parcel contained one and a half kilos of kratom.

Al-Enezi said that, with the joint cooperation between the Anti-Narcotics Department of the Ministry of Interior and the Department of Search and Investigation of the General Administration of Customs, all the suspected owners of the parcels were detained and referred to competent authorities.

The Director General of the General Administration of Customs, Sulaiman Al-Fahd, praised the joint efforts between the Customs and the MoI, and thanked all employees of the Air Customs Administration for their dedication to work.
