Indian Navy ship INS Shardul departed from Kuwait carrying more than 7500 oxygen cylinders as per the embassy of India Kuwait on its social media account.
This brings an end to the current phase of oxygen supply from Kuwait to India.
The ship which brought back empty ISO tanks and semi-trailers is bound to India now. Kuwait earlier had sent several batches of consignments including Liquified Medical Oxygen and other medical supplies to India when the second wave of Covid hit to show support and solidarity with India.
