The Civil Service Commission calls on citizens to take up nursing and exempts all those who are already in the field of nursing are pursuing Bachelor degrees in nursing or nursing diploma from all conditions and get paid full salary without any deduction any allowances during the study period.
The Undersecretary of the Civil Service Commission, Abeer Al-Duaij told Al-Jarida daily today, that based on the studies and research that have been done and continues till today for all disciplines needed by and the labor market shows the health sector has many openings for the nursing specialization and will continue to absorb this category of disciplines over the next 10 years.
The daily added, the CSC has approved the plan to adopt the national program plan to improve the level of performance of members of the nursing staff.
Al-Duaij added that the program plan aims to send government employees particularly from the ministries of Health, Defense and Interior and other institutions those who hold high school diploma and its equivalent to obtain a bachelor’s degree or nursing diploma if they wish to.
She explained that the way will be opened for the rest of the government agencies affiliated with the dispatch budget, and seats will be allocated for those wishing to study a bachelor’s and diploma inside and outside the country within the program after the budget is approved for the year 2023-2024 and the approval of the CSC.
She stated that this decision aims to encourage nationals to engage in work in the field of nursing, while excluding the nominated employees from all the conditions for delegation stipulated in Articles 8 and 10 of the Regulations for Scholarships and Study Leaves of Civil Service Council Resolution No. 10 of 1986 within the plan of the program with obtaining the full salary without deduction of any allowances during the study leave period.
