The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Communications (MoC) Dr. Kholoud Al-Shehab has announced that the Civil Service Commission (CSC) has granted hazard allowance to the employees working in the Building Maintenance Department of the Ministry of Communications and Support Services Sector, Al-Anba reports.

It amounts to KD 35 per month, as per the Civil Service Commission Decision No. 13/2012.

Al-Shehab explained that the CSC, examined the request for granting hazard allowance to the employees of the Building Maintenance Department in conjunction with the Occupational Health Department of the Ministry of Health in order to determine the extent to which the employees were exposed to danger while exercising their assigned job burdens.

Accordingly, the Occupational Health Department reported that some of the employees working in the departments of their work center are at risk.

The continued disbursement of the hazard allowance is linked to the employee continuing in the same career field. In the event that he moves to another department or work center, the disbursement will be stopped.

In conclusion, Al-Shehab congratulated the employees of the Building Maintenance Department of the Communications and Support Services Sector for being eligible for this allowance due to their efforts, and the important and vital role they play in the Ministry of Communications.

He appraised the great role played by the directives issued by the State Minister for Services Affairs Mubarak Al-Haris to meet the demands of the employees of the ministry and to facilitate them in dealing with the burdens of their jobs, as well as wishing safety of everyone.
