At a time when administrative corruption has become a thorn in the government’s side, there is an urgent need for new decisions and steps to control the situation in state agencies and prevent repeated violations and abuses in some sectors as many have seen an increase in the evidence of corruption, Al Qabas reported.

In response to alleged corruption, the Civil Service Bureau (CSB) yesterday issued a guide to develop, document and simplify procedures, by relying on an automated system to monitor transactions and following up on them. This aims to ensure speedy processing of transactions.

The step towards developing the services provided by simplifying them for users and the public, documenting procedures and transferring all transactions online, would help to contribute to combating administrative corruption, violations and crises, and upgrade the processes of working in public sector institutions.

Simplifying the documentation processes came in response to the length of time taken to perform the transaction without appropriate justification, bottlenecks that impede the progress of transactions, the large circulation of papers, the increase in waiting period for work, and the inequality in the distribution of work to those in charge.
