The Criminal Court acquitted 4 State Security officers of the charge of torturing their fellow officer, and rejected the civil lawsuit.
Earlier the plaintiff had submitted a complaint to the Public Prosecution, asserting that he had been subjected to torture, and abused verbally and made to sleep on a cold floor because there were no chairs to sit on in the interrogation room.
The charges were denied by the defendants.
