The UAE’s Ministry of Health on Sunday reported seven additional fatalities, taking this Gulf country’s count of confirmed deaths up to 126.

The ministry, in a press statement, also announced 564 more infections with the highly contagious disease, raising its total number of virus cases to 14,163.

A total of 99 patients have recovered from the respiratory illness, bringing the UAE’s total number of already cured people to 2,763, the ministry added.

S. Arabia: 8 new deaths from coronavirus

Eight patients who had suffered from infection with the novel coronavirus passed away, spokesperson of the Saudi Ministry of Health Dr. Mohammad Alabdulali said on Sunday.

A total number of deaths from COVID-19 reached 184 and infections 27,011 with 1,552 new recorded cases, he said in his daily briefing about the pandemic.

Number of recoveries rose to 4,134 after 369 sick persons overcame sickness with the virus, but 139 cases remained under intensive care.
