Counselor Salah Al-Majed who has been appointed as head of the Fatwa and Legislation Department, in a statement said after his appointment talked about developing work in Fatwa and Legislation Department.

He added, “I will rely in my work on the Kuwaiti element, which if developed and carried by the Secretariat, we will achieve development. I will also rely on teamwork, and once again emphasized in the interest in the national component and commitment to work as top priorities,” reports Al-Qabas daily.

He expressed his pride and thanked the political leadership for placing confidence in him explaining that the department will be a beacon of legal work and will return to its basic nature as a legal arm of the state.

Counselor Al-Majed went on to say, the next stage will witness a kind of development of work that leads to raising the efficiency of the national element and the speed of achievement, as well as applying justice and devoting equality to all.

“We will also work to raise efficiency, enhance expertise, and complete tasks in an orderly manner, in addition to accountability for requesting an increase in time in completing tasks without justification, so that the files proceed with controlled procedures, in addition to monitoring from the higher authority,” he said.
