Acting Secretary-General of the Municipal Council, Abdul Mohsen Aba Al-Khail, issued a circular suspending work in the Municipal Council from today, Tuesday, until next Sunday.
In his circular, Aba Al-Khail stated based on the Civil Service Commission Circular No. (16) of 2021 regarding the measures to be taken to confront the new Corona virus (Omicron), and the commitment to implement health requirements in workplaces and in order to ensure the health and safety of employees of the General Secretariat and in view of the epidemiological health situation in the country and the noticeable increase in the number of corona virus infections among employees, the General Secretariat decided to stop work, reports Al-Qabas daily.
He added work will resume work next Sunday. However, the employees submit negative PCR test certificate issued not earlier than 48 hours. He called on employees to adhere to health controls and requirements at the workplace throughout the working period.
