The Federation of Consumer Cooperative Societies has called for all societies to appoint responsible Kuwaitis for the branches and restrict the management of their catering branches to citizens, an Arab daily reported.
Union President, Badah Al-Dosari, referred to the ministerial circular requesting to support cooperative work in order to achieve economic and social goals through cooperative societies’ adherence to ministerial procedures. He also called on the heads of the associations’ board of directors to adhere to the instructions with regards to the implementation of the Kuwaitization policy for supervisory jobs, as per the requirements specified in the regulation of cooperative work.
In addition, it has relevance to the necessity of assigning only Kuwaitis to the supply branches, at the request of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
