Achieving community immunity in Kuwait requires immunizing more than 3 million people to reach 70 percent of the population of Kuwait, the sources pointed out to the daily that the national campaign to vaccinate is close to completing 3 million doses.

The efforts to accelerate and intensify the pace of the vaccination campaign to continue during the coming months of August and September, with the availability of vaccines to achieve the desired goal of reaching community immunity next October, which is now reflected in the numbers of daily vaccination rates, which ranged from 1 to 2.5 percent of the target group.

The number of people registered so far to receive the vaccine has reached 2.5 million, which means that about 750,000 people have not yet registered their names.
