During the first meeting of the Committee for the Elimination of Preventive Violations held Tuesday morning, Chief of the General Fire Brigade, Lieutenant-General Khaled Al-Makrad, chaired the discussion on removing preventive violations from the danger of fire in different areas, an Arab daily reported. The meeting, which was held in the General Fire Brigade and in the presence of the assistant agents in the concerned authorities in the country, witnessed Lieutenant General Al-Mukrad welcoming the attendees and conveying to them the greetings and appreciation of the Acting Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Acting Minister of Interior, Sheikh Talal Al-Khaled. The official also expressed his wishes for the committee to succeed in implementing the goal of the Prime Minister, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, to remove all preventive violations from the danger of fire in various locations in the country based on the requirements of the general fire brigade.
The officials discussed the violating establishments that were monitored by the inspection teams of the Public Fire Force and worked to coordinate between the concerned authorities to develop radical and legal solutions to overcome obstacles. The aim is to ensure that these facilities and sites are subject to the preventive requirements sanctioned by the Public Fire Force and ensure their safety and maintain community security once all solutions have been put in place. The end goal is to preserve the safety of people and their property.
During the meeting, Lieutenant-General Al-Mukrad stressed the need to work as a team to protect lives and properties. He also thanked his fellow citizens and residents who cooperated in removing such violations, which exemplifies their patriotic action for the benefit of public interest.
