Director-General of the Kuwait Municipality Eng Ahmed Al-Manfouhi has issued a decision to form a committee to follow up the implementation of advertising auction contracts The committee will be headed by the Director of the Jahra Governorate Municipality Department, Eng. Thamer Al-Mutairi.
In his decision, Al-Manfouhi specified the committee’s terms of reference for suggesting locations for the installation of billboards, for current or future auctions, presenting this to the competent authorities, giving his opinion on what licensed companies require to do regarding increasing the number of advertisements or changing their locations, and following up the procedure for activating and implementing the penal provisions that are signed against anyone who violates one of the terms of the contracts concluded between the licensees and the municipality.
Al-Manfouhi stressed the coordination between the municipality and government agencies related to the sites and checking on the violations that the competent departments deem to be issued against the licensed companies violating the terms and provisions of the contracts concluded with them, and receiving monthly reports from the municipal branches in the governorates on the results of the inspection tours, which must be done on the sites of the billboards during the month so that the necessary legal action is taken against the violators as soon as possible
