The Minister of State for Services and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs Mubarak Al-Haris chaired a meeting to discuss plans to resume travel of commercial flights at Kuwait International Airport, as well as a plan to return to official work. The meeting was with officials from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).

Al-Haris released a press statement that a presentation was given during the meeting by officials of the Civil Aviation that outlined a plan for the gradual restarting of commercial flights to and from Kuwait International Airport. In addition, a detailed explanation was included in the presentation of the plan for the DGCA to follow for the gradual return to work according to the decision of the Council of Ministers in regard to their stratagem for the gradual return to normalcy in the country.

Al-Harais pointed out that part of the Civil Aviation plan is to start operation of commercial flights in three progressive stages, in the first stage 30% flights will start followed by the second stage increases to 60% before the third and final stage which will see full operations in Kuwait.
