A tragic collision between 5 vehicles on King Fahd Road resulted in the death of two people and the injury to six.
The Public Relations and Media Department of the Directorate-General of Fire Department (DGFD) reported that the accident happened at dawn today.
The administration explained the Central Operations Department directed personnel from the Nuwaiseeb Fire Station to the site of the mishap after two vehicles went up in flames upon impact. The firemen were able to bring the fire under control immediately upon arrival.
The cause of the accident is not known. The injured were rushed to the nearest hospital by paramedics, while the corpses of the dead persons were referred to Forensics.
