The Public Relations and Security Media Department of the Ministry of Interior stated that the Coast Guard Department managed to seize a ship inside Kuwait’s territorial waters for attempting to smuggle large quantities diesel outside the country.
A local Arabic daily said this comes within the framework of Kuwait’s attempts to protect its maritime borders from infiltrators and smugglers of narcotics via the sea.
The seizures and the smugglers have been referred to the competent authorities to take the necessary measures against them.
