The Director General of the Kuwait Municipality has issued an administrative decision to close restaurants and cafés inside the Al-Qurain Market, Al-Ardiya Industrial Area and the handicraft areas at one in the morning.
The decision stipulates all commercial shops located in the craft areas must pull down shutters at 1:00 am, reports Al-Qabas daily.
The the decision states that a new article No. 2 bis shall be added to Administrative Resolution No. 3212/2022 GM regarding determining the working hours of shops located in private housing areas, which reads as follows.
“The working hours of shops located in craft areas are determined until one in the morning maximum, direct sales are not allowed.
The decision calls on all concerned authorities and sectors to start implementing the decision 30 days after the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
