Astronomer Adel Al-Marzouq extended his best congratulations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad and to His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad and to the government, the Kuwaiti people and those residing on this good land on the National Day and Liberation Day, praying to Almighty God to protect Kuwait and its people from all harm.

Al-Anba quoting Al-Marzouq said the weather in the region during the festive period, which also combines with the Isra and Mi’raj holiday will see the temperatures rising during the day and will last for approximately 10 days and may extend to the first ten days of next March, and temperatures are expected to be between 24 and 27 degrees Celsius because of the air air depression belt centred between the northeast of the Arabian Peninsula and the middle of the Arabian Gulf.

The reason for the rise in temperature, he said, is due to the southeasterly winds which are expected to continue until dawn next Saturday, before changing direction to northwesterly until Tuesday noon, blowing at a speed of between 15 and 30 km/hour.

The weather will be between cloudy and partly cloudy, which gives a very small chance of scattered rain between next Tuesday and Wednesday, with the warm weather continuing during this period, and in general the national holiday period will be almost dry and almost rain-free.

Astronomically, Al-Marzouq said the month of Sha’ban begins on Friday, March 4, as the Sha’ban crescent will be born on Wednesday, March 2, from 8.35 pm, the month of Rajab this year will complete 30 days, and Monday, March 7, will signal the end of winter.

Regarding the state of the sea, Al-Marzouq said: The sea will enter the state of fast-moving convection currents that are not suitable for fishing, starting from Monday the last day in February until Monday, March 7, and the sea will be between light and moderate during the national holidays.
