A home delivery service for civil ID cards will be launched soon after the Audit Bureau gave its approval to the request from the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI), and a local company was contracted to provide the delivery service, Al Qabas daily reported.
The terms of the approval that was underlined at the end of August was for the service cost to be 650 fils for each Civil ID card delivery for a period of one year, provided it is introduced within 3 months.
PACI recently launched an update for the Kuwait Mobile ID app to be operational on iPhone devices, and also increased the timings from 6 am in the morning until 8 pm in the evening for when Civil IDs can be accepted in its main building in South Surra area, in addition to providing other transactions including renewal and change of photos, registration of first-time servants, completion of birth and nationality data for those who have reached the age of 18 years, registration of family, and visas for Article 24, 23 and 19 And 18 and 17 through the electronic envelope.
