The General Administration of Civil Aviation signed an agreement with the Sudanese Civil Aviation Authority on increasing the number of flights between the two countries on Sunday. An Arab daily reported that the Director-General of the General Administration of Civil Aviation, Yousef Al-Fawzan, signed the agreement with the Director-General of the Sudanese Civil Aviation Authority, Fakhruddin Othman, to regulate air services between the two countries.

Al-Fawzan stated that this would allow the exploitation of the freedoms related to the field of aviation, which represents a qualitative leap in bilateral air relations between the two countries, aiming to strengthen relations, especially relevant to trade with other countries. He added that it seeks to facilitate the operation of commercial airlines for passengers and cargo, thus, enhancing air transport between the two countries.
