The final results of the 2021 census project for the State of Kuwait revealed that the total population was 4,385,717 million, of who 1,488,716 million are Kuwaitis, or 34 percent, compared to 2,897,001 non-Kuwaitis, or 66 percent.

The results of the census organized by the Central Administration of Statistics, in cooperation with the Public Authority for Civil Information, showed the number of Kuwaiti males as 729,638, or 49 percent, compared to 759,078 Kuwaiti women, or 51 percent, pointing out that the number of non-Kuwaiti males is 1,941,628, or 67 percent, while the number of non-Kuwaiti females reached 955,373, or 33 percent.

The results indicated that the number of residence violators reached 151,992, while the number of entry visas reached 44,879, and the number of visa violators reached 26,985.

Minister of Commerce and Industry and Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology Mazen Al-Nahedh stated that the importance of statistics is due to its major role in the development planning process, stressing that such data is the backbone of any development planning, as there is no development without planning or planning without statistics.
