The security forces succeeded in convincing a citizen to refrain from committing suicide, after he climbed to the minaret in a mosque in Sabahiya this morning and threatened to jump.
According to security sources, the Kuwaiti found the door leading to the minaret open and climbed to the top of the mosque, reports a local Arabic daily.
When the security men were informed by the passers-by security forces managed to convince the man to give up the idea. It is not known why the man wanted to end his life.
