The prices of cigarettes in the local market have seen a significant decrease during the last period, and the prices fell by 28 to 33% for some of the well-known brands, the most popular among smokers.
According to concerned tobacco traders sources in Kuwait, electronic devices are igniting competition on the local market, especially the spread of single-use devices and their prices close to the prices of traditional cigarettes, which have increased competition, reports a local Arabic daily.
The sources estimated that single use e-cigarettes have attracted a significant number of smokers during the past months who have changed over from traditional cigarettes.
