A decree has been issued banning the import, promotion, or sale of any product or goods without a certificate of origin. In issuing the degree, the Minister of Commerce and Industry and Minister of State for Services Affairs Khalid Al-Roudhan stressed that the certificate should clearly indicate the country of origin, date of production and import, which must also be approved by the Minister of State for Services in the country of origin and ratified by the concerned authorities and the Kuwait consulate in that country.
