Embassy of India, Kuwait celebrated the festival of lights-Diwali and Ayurveda Day on November 02, at the embassy premises with lights, music and dance
Ambassador of India to Kuwait H.E. Sibi George welcomed members from Indian Diaspora, Kuwaiti guests, people from Media fraternity and persons joined the ceremony virtually. In his address, he marked the crucial role played by Ayurveda in brining balance to life and keeping oneself away from many lifestyle-borne diseases. He also wished everyone a very Happy Diwali.
Video address by Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi at COP26 Summit, Glasgow was also screened.
The ceremony has also seen live yoga performances by citizens from various nationalities. Showcasing vivid colour of Indian Cuture, specific to Diwali, a variety of cultural performances were also presented by the members from Indian Diaspora.
