The Central Bank of Kuwait has directed local banks to stop charging any fees for electronic local transfers.
The Central Bank in a statement stressed imposing such fees requires new approvals within the framework of a balanced relationship between banks and their customers, in a way that supports trends towards digital transformation and urge customers to use electronic channels.
