The Central Agency for Public Tenders approved the Ministry of Health’s submission of 14 tenders to purchase medicines, in addition to two requests for direct contracting for the same purpose, due to the need of all departments in health centers and hospitals.
The medicines that the Ministry of Health requested to introduce practices for their purchase varied between what is used to treat cancer, the digestive system, respiratory diseases, asthma, skin diseases, neurological diseases, ear diseases, and rheumatism, in addition to nutrients and antibiotics for children, reports a local Arabic daily.
