The Public Authority for Manpower said in case a final verdict is issued against an employee by a court the sponsor can avail the facility of cancelling the residence permit of that employee online.
However, the Al-Qabas daily said all necessary documents must be uploaded on the website and the sponsor must then visit the authority.
Following the cancellation of the work permit the sponsor is required is deposit with PAM 250 dinars financial guarantee in favor of the worker to cover whatever outstanding money the sponsor may owe his employee.
The daily did not mention if this money is refundable.
