The Council of Ministers will discuss, in its weekly meeting today, allowing restaurants to operate during the curfew hours, which is from 5 pm until 5 am, Al-Qabas daily reported.
A source familiar with the matter said businesses will be limited to taking and providing delivery orders only.
In a related matter, the source indicated that the field supervisory teams of the Kuwait municipality will launch campaigns in the six governorates of the country to monitor shops and businesses to ensure they are committed to adhering to open shops only from five am until 4 pm. Legal measures will be taken against anyone caught in violation of this decision.
