The Cabinet was informed of the official delegation accompanying His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad, during his visit to the city of Hangzhou in the People’s Republic of China, from Sept 20 to 24.

The delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Oil, and Minister of State for Economic Affairs and Investment Dr. Saad Al-Barrak, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Salem Al-Abdullah, Minister of Trade and Industry and Minister of State for Youth Affairs Muhammad Al-Aiban, Minister of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy Dr. Jassim Al-Astad, Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Housing Affairs Faleh Al-Ruqaba, in addition to a number of senior officials in the Diwan of His Highness the Crown Prince and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On the other hand, the Council adopted a draft decree calling on the National Assembly to convene for the second regular session of the seventeenth legislative term on Tuesday, October 31, and submitted it to His Highness the Crown Prince.

In the meantime, the Council also approved the launch of the trial version for managing the “Tawasul” platform, starting from Sunday, Sept 24.

It is a platform concerned with receiving all citizens’ suggestions, inquiries, and complaints, and it can be used through the unified government application for electronic services, “Sahel.”
