The Cabinet has approved, during its session today, some ministerial amendments, represented by the appointment of the Minister of Oil and Electricity, Dr. Muhammad Al-Faris to the Ministry of State for Cabinet Affairs.
The sources said that the council also decided that the Minister of Public Works, Ali Al-Mousa, would assume the portfolio of the Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy, and the Minister of Information and Culture, Dr. Hamad Rouh al-Din the portfolio of the Ministry of Youth reports a local Arabic daily.
The sources added that the Council of Ministers also approved the promotion of the head of the State Security Apparatus, Major General Salem Al-Nawaf, to the rank of Lieutenant-General.
