On behalf of the Government and the people of the Federative Republic of Brazil, and on my own, I have the honor to congratulate His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Sabah, and the Government and people of the State of Kuwait on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of National Day, 30th anniversary of Liberation Day.
I also avail myself of this opportunity to express the Brazilian appreciation for the constructive role played by Kuwait in support of stability in the Middle East, notably in the context of the Gulf Cooperation Council, and to wish the Kuwaiti people a future of continuous peace and prosperity.
