‘Death on the Nile’ is facing boycott calls in many Arab countries, in conjunction with its release in international cinemas, because of the lead role played by Gal Gadot, who is a former soldier in the Zionist occupation army.

The people in Kuwait and the Arab countries took to ‘Twitter’ to express their anger at Gal’s choice, especially as it called for the further killing of Gaza children during the 2014 aggression. The Ministry of Information had earlier banned the ‘Wonder Woman’ movie for the same reason.

In Lebanon, the campaign to boycott the Zionist entity called on cinemas to ban the film, while the promotional advertisements have sparked widespread controversy in Egypt, given that it is set in Cairo, based on the Agatha Christie novel of the same name.
