The security operatives from Al-Ahmadi Governorate (the Fahaheel Command) has referred an Asian to the competent authorities, on charges of promoting liquor and found in his possession 1,400 imported bottles of booze, including 50 locally-manufactured alcohol.
A security source told the daily, during interrogation the suspect admitted to the charge. He was allegedly caught red-handed filling empty foreign booze bottles with locally-made booze.
The Security Media Department stated the Asian had turned his apartment in Mangaf into a booze-manufacturing factory from which the raiding party seized liquor filling gadget, raw material and booze bottles ready for sale.
