There is widespread discontent among employees in the oil sector and many feel favoritism and moodiness has played a role while paying bonuses (incentives).
The sources told Al-Rai many employees were surprised by the decision when they realized that they were paid half month’s salary or one month salary as the yearly bonus, while many others, they say, were paid much more than that and this prompted the affected employees to express their dissatisfaction to the administration.
The sources indicated that this behavior will lead to division among employees and encourage ‘go slow’, which will negatively affect the company and its performance and said there are a number of workers who are considering returning to their parent companies, but the challenge they face is the availability of vacancies for their grades in those companies.
