Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman said that Kuwait and Saudi Arabia want to discuss the Dora gas field with Iran, because the resources of this field are of common interest for the two countries.

Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman said in a statement that shifting energy production to gas and renewable energy locally would allow one million barrels per day of oil for export, adding that “there is no refining capacity equivalent to the current demand, and depletion of production capacities at all levels in the energy sector is a global issue that must be what the world cares about,” reports a local Arabic daily quoting Reuters.

“We are not looking at more investments in Aramco’s upstream activities abroad because it carries out a lot of downstream activities,” he added.
