The Assistant Undersecretary for Private and Qualitative Education, Dr. Abdulmohsen Al-Huwaila, announced bedoun students who number about 9,318 will be exempted from paying the fees for the semesters in private Arab and model private schools in all educational areas for all educational levels.

Al-Huwaila confirmed in a press statement that the Ministry of Education, in cooperation with the Kuwaiti Zakat House, is responsible for paying all the fees of all bedoun students who are covered by the charity fund for the current academic year 2021/2022, reports a local Arabic daily.

Al-Huwaila said: “Within the framework of keenness of Ministry of Education — the private and model education sector — the sufferings of the bedoun students will be alleviated.
