The Jahra security men have arrested an unidentified bedoun person for shooting in the air during a wedding celebration in the Jahra area.
The Al-Rai daily said, a case of using a weapon, endangering the lives of others, and a case of attempted murder has been filed against him.
The arrest came after the security authorities received a report of gunfire in Jahra Governorate in front of a wedding hall, so the security men moved to the site, and found empty shells of bullets the type used in Kalashnikov rifle.
A felony case has been filed against the owner of the rifle after instructions were issued to the securitymen to arrest the suspect from among the guests to the wedding party.
The sources said after the wedding ceremony was over, the bridegroom was investigated, and he gave the name of the bedoun as the culprit who fired in the air.
