The Secretary of the Kuwait Bar Association, Lawyer Khaled Al-Suwaifan, said that an office for the Public Authority for Civil Information will be opened at the association’s headquarters, pointing out that this “will contribute to the completion of the system of fruitful and constructive cooperation between the Kuwait Lawyers Association and a number of state ministries and institutions that have opened offices at the association’s headquarters.”

He considered this step as “a continuation of the association’s vision 2023, to overcome all obstacles facing the work of lawyers, and an extension of the association’s societal role,” reports a local Arabic daily.

Al-Suwaifan added that the opening of the office of the Public Authority for Civil Information will be under the patronage and presence of the Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology Rana Al-Faris.

He explained it will include many services provided by the authority to its visitors which will shorten time and effort for lawyers and litigants.
