The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Banking Union, Adel Abdulwahab Al-Majed stated that based on the decision of the Council of Ministers, the period from Thursday, 12 to 26 March, 2020, is considered official holidays, and the official working day will resume on Sunday, March 29, 2020.
Accordingly, local banks will suspend their work during this period in the main centers and their branches throughout the country, but processing of services to their customers will continue through electronic services, including financial transfers locally between banks and transfers abroad, and cash will be provided from through ATMs, in addition to receiving customer inquiries through banks’ customer service numbers.
