During investigations by the public Prosecution on the charges of human trafficking, visa trading, money laundering and bribes, the Bangladeshi MP said denied the accusation of bribery, and offered a justification for paying money, reports Al Qabas daily.

“I have 9,000 employees in Kuwait and 100% clean bids. No governmental entities have questioned my work in the past, but some officials would not allow my work to go through if I did not pay them. What am I to do in this case?” said Islam. The daily reports that the Bangladeshi MP defends himself, and denied the charges against him. He said that his companies have their own equipment, as evidence of the quality of services provided to government agencies he is contracted with, but the whole problem lies in some officials.

The prosecution will transfer those named in the investigations to the criminal court as soon as the evidence and documents collection is completed. Regarding the amount of time needed to refer the guilty to the criminal court, the daily revealed that for such an issue, with the emergence of names, personalities and serious charges, it will take some time, to ensure that no official or citizen who had a hand in the crimes be allowed to escape accountability.

A judicial source admitted to Qabas daily that the only way for a briber to escape punishment is if he reports his crime, and reveals those who forced him to pay the money, either to complete his work, otherwise he is accused of the crime, and there are no excuses.
