At the time when the sisterly State of Kuwait concludes another year of its luminous march of independence and the anniversary of liberation, we in the Kingdom of Bahrain are happy to share in the joy of the leadership and people of the sisterly State of Kuwait.
On behalf of the Government and people of the Kingdom of Bahrain, I extend my heartiest greetings and felicitations to His Highness Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Amir of the State of Kuwait, may God preserve and protect him, and His Highness Sheikh Mishaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the faithful Crown Prince, may God preserve him, and direct his footsteps on the path of goodness.
I also beseech the Almighty God to protect the State of Kuwait from all evil and all harm and to have mercy on souls of the martyrs who sacrificed everything precious for the State of Kuwait, and its future, so that the country would continue to be free, proud, and occupy a lofty position among the peace-loving countries of the world.
I take this opportunity to wish the State of Kuwait and everyone who lives on its land peace and prosperity.
