Sunday, the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs expressed profound sorrow as it mourned the passing of Sheikh Khaled Al-Saeedi, the esteemed imam and preacher of both the Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Mosque and the Grand State Mosque.

Salman Al-Kandari, the spokesman for the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, conveyed the condolences and sympathies of Abdul Rahman Al-Mutairi, the Minister of Information and Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, to the family of the departed and to the entire Kuwaiti community. He beseeched the Almighty to grant the departed soul a place in the highest realms of heaven, reports Al-Rai daily.

Al-Kandari emphasized that the late Sheikh Khaled Al-Saeedi held a significant stature in the recitation of the Noble Qur’an within Kuwait and the broader Islamic world.

His melodious and moving recitations resonated deeply with worshippers at the Grand Mosque of the state and various mosques across the country. He also mentioned the impact of Sheikh Khaled’s lessons and sermons, invoking divine blessings upon the departed and invoking patience and strength for his family and loved ones.
