In a recent announcement, the Minister of Information and Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Abd al-Rahman al-Mutairi, has issued a significant ministerial decision which allows for delegation and internal transfer between and to the departments of the Holy Quran Affairs and Islamic Studies sector, as well as its affiliated centers.

The timeframe for such transfers has been expanded to include the months of July and August, along with the spring break. Previously, this opportunity was limited to only the month of June each year, reports Al-Rai daily.

Salman Al-Kandari, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, confirmed this development in a statement made on Tuesday.

He stated that individuals seeking transfers can now submit their requests through the Ministry’s electronic portal, which will be available continuously. The transfer decisions and delegations will then be issued during the specified periods as per the ministerial decision.

Al-Kandari further emphasized that this decision aligns with the Ministry’s vision of enhancing the administrative system within this crucial sector.

The goal is to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow, leading to significant achievements in legal education related to jurisprudence, interpretation, and the biography of the noble Prophet.

The Ministry, under the leadership of Minister Al-Mutairi, is committed to providing an attractive and supportive environment for all its employees and stakeholders. The aim is to improve the services offered and to foster creative initiatives that align with the Ministry’s vision of being a leader in Islamic work.
