The judicial police team of the Ministry of Electricity and Water seized and cut off the power of several facilities in Kuwait City following reports of disturbing noises and loud parties in the properties.
The deputy head of the team, Ahmed Al-Shammari, said that they received a report from the municipality to cut the power to one of the properties that disturbed the neighbourhood. He also pointed out that this month, a total of 40 violations have been reported, including cases involving infringements on the network.
Al-Shammari also noted that campaigns are ongoing and will be intensified in the Capital Governorate, especially on shanty houses and slums.
